A one-time pro baseball prospect, he has hitchhiked the highways of the United States, worked as a cab driver, bartender, Army medic, and storekeeper on a riverboat, and was the founding publisher of The Rogue Voice literary magazine. His work has been published in The Rogue Voice, Easy Reader, New Times, and Coldtype. He currently writes and resides in Cayucos, California, with his Chocolate Labrador “Wilbur”.
